The goal of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is to spread the passion and knowledge required to be a successful engineer by competing in the collegiate competition called Baja SAE.
Baja SAE is an engineering challenge where students design, build and test a fully functioning off-road car. The level of complexity required for the car requires simulating an engineering firm where the balance between brainstorming and project organization is a need. The Stevens Baja SAE team offers levels of experience that meet and exceed what could be gained from an internship!
Our goal is to fund traveling expenses for the spring semester. Traveling to our competitions is very expensive, and funds will help our members with housing and transportation costs to participate in competitions where Stevens will be represented nationally.
